2017 Grocery Grab Benefits St. John Playground

Seward Rotary Club's annual Grocery Grab fundraiser concluded on July 8th with the Jerod and Michelle Spahr family of DeWitt, Nebraska receiving the grand prize - a shopping spree dash through Pac N Save Grocery in Seward. The Spahrs collected more than $800 in groceries during their sprint through the store. Eight other participants received a $25 gift card from Pac N Save, which is the sponsor of the Grocery Grab.

This annual event raises funds to support a local community project selected by members of Seward Rotary, with proceeds often matched by a grant from Rotary International. This year's event is supporting the playground renovation project at St. John Lutheran School in Seward.

Seward Rotary Club thanks everyone who bought a ticket for this year's event and Pac N Save for their ongoing support. The total raised will be announced after Seward Rotary learns the status of its grant application.
