Soil Impacts on Construction
Brant Wells, Field/Lab Operations Manager for Alfred Benesch & Company shared a presentation on soil preparation for land development. Brant shared about his education and experiences that led him into geology. He shared excerpts of the video “Restless Prairie” from Nebraska ETV.  "Restless Prairie" features Nebraska's unique natural history. Hidden in Nebraska's landscape is a history that was carved by a series of natural disasters occurring over five billion years. Brant’s research at Toadstool Park was featured in the video.

Benjamin Myers is honored as Youth Rotarian of the Month
The February Youth Rotarian of the Month is Ben Myers, a senior at Seward High School and he was honored on Wednesday, February 5 at noon at the Jones Bank auditorium at the Rotary weekly luncheon meeting. He is the son of Nate and Heather Myers of Seward.

Rivoli Theater Kicks Off Centennial with a Free Show and Birthday Party Sponsored by Seward Rotary
The Seward Historic Rivoli Theater kicked off their big centennial year 1920 -2020, celebrating 100 years in business and serving the Seward area with a FREE movie sponsored by the Seward Rotary Club-complete with a birthday cake and gifts. The free movie was hosted by members of the Seward Rotary, who asked the participants to donated canned goods and toiletry items that were donated to Blue Valley Community Action program and pantry.

Seward Rotary Showcases Seward County’s Plum Creek Wagyu Beef at Weekly Meeting.
The weekly Seward Rotary Club held it’s meeting on Wednesday, February 5 th , 2020 at the Jones Bank Auditorium. Fellowship, a luncheon and short business meeting preceded the program. Rotarian of the Month was program chair Andy Hartmann, who introduce Rotarian Patty Lavelle-Lead Business Development Lead for Plum Creek Wagyu Beef.
